20% project

T-shirt for Transformation- 20% project

For this Project, we spent 20% of our semester working on whatever project we wanted. I chose to study climate change and the physiological component  that comes into it. From the information I got from my research, I decided that creating a t-shirt business where the profit that I would get would be donated to NOAA or another organization that deals with raising awareness and creating solutions to the climate change problem.  During this process, I don’t think I achieved the goals that I set for myself in my proposal and in my elevator pitch. I was sort of oblivious and underestimated how much logistical work goes into creating a t-shirt company. After researching advertising and creating techniques for businesses, I realized that honestly I am not super into the whole graphic design and business making job genre.  I noticed some of the time I would get of trac or not use great time management skills on my project. I spent a way to long time sketching out the logo and digitally enhancing it. Then when it came to the logistical side of it, I got bored and it was hard to concentrate and work. I am more of a hands on worker I learned in this project and I am super proud of the logo I created.
